Renee Boisvert
Renee is a gamification designer, using game elements in non-game settings to engage and motivate people. She coordinate Sententia Gamification's Game Garage, an event highlighting gamification techniques and technologies. She presented on "Game Bits and Flavor Bites at GamiCon 2023.
Renee worked for decades as a Youth Care Practitioner, helping families cope with issues related to mental health, autism, hospitalization, and abuse. Her preferred practice is to engage each individual's strengths and interests to help them overcome challenges.
Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator is the conductor behind the scenes, ensuring that every GamiCon NOLA speaker is not only stage-ready for New Orleans but also fully prepared to deliver a dynamic, hands-on Game Garage experience in advance of the event. Working remotely, Renee coordinates each Special Edition Game Garage session, aligning topics, refining structure, and supporting our speakers as they transform their ideas into engaging previews. These sessions serve as both preparation and promotion, giving participants a front-row seat to the creativity and energy GamiCon is known for. Through careful planning and collaboration, the Program Coordinator makes sure that each speaker hits the right notes before, during, and beyond the main event.
