It is behavioral. His work helps HR, training, and leadership teams build environments where people are motivated to learn, adopt new skills, and sustain performance over time.
Embedding the Learning AFTER Training with Behavioural Economics
Workplace learning is changing. We are moving away from long training programs focused on certificates and attendance, toward learning that drives meaning and real change. Today, learning is shifting toward micro-credentials and workplace-based development, where employees build skills while working.
In this model, training fills knowledge gaps, while skills are strengthened through coaching, practice, and self-directed learning along the employee’s workplace journey.
In this talk, we explore the ADAPT model (Workplace-Integrated Gamification) and how behavioural economics can extend learning beyond the classroom. By shaping the workplace environment—through systems, cues, defaults, nudges, and reinforcement—organizations can make the right behaviours easier, more visible, and more likely to stick.
Takeaway: Training gamification strategies can extend beyond the classroom. Real impact happens when the workplace environment supports and reinforces the behaviour change.
