LEVEL 1: FOUNDATIONS OF STORY

A four-hour, hands-on course | $97

Most people think great storytellers are born with a gift. They aren’t. They use structure.

Level 1 gives you that structure, and it does it in the most practical way possible. You won’t sit through theory. You’ll work with the Design Deck, a set of thirty-plus cards that turn storytelling into something you can see, choose, and apply on the spot. You’ll learn the core frameworks professionals rely on—Pixar Pitch, ABT, Three-Act, STAR, Golden Circle, and more—each with simple visuals, examples, and prompts drawn straight from the card deck.

Across four hours, you’ll test these frameworks in real workplace scenarios: presenting data to executives, motivating a team after setbacks, explaining change, opening a workshop, and introducing new initiatives. You’ll experience how structure shifts tone, sharpens meaning, and builds emotional pull—because, as the facilitator flow notes, “structure is what makes memory possible.”

The session moves fast and stays practical. You tell one-minute stories. You rebuild them using different frameworks. You watch how clarity improves, how tension sharpens, and how your message lands more cleanly each time. By the end, you won’t just understand storytelling. You’ll be doing it with confidence.

Level 1 is the foundation of the Master Storytelling Trilogy. It sets the mindset that storytelling is a designed process—one you can learn, practice, and master. The trilogy begins here, with the essential skills that open everything else up .

You’ll leave Level 1 able to:

  • Recognize and use the most reliable storytelling frameworks
  • Match a structure to a message, audience, or goal
  • Draft short, compelling stories that clarify, persuade, and connect
  • Communicate with more confidence, purpose, and emotional impact.
