Description:  This hands-on certification takes you through the 5-Quest, trademarked and proven process of gamifiying your corporate training, HR compliance, or adult education program. By following the 5-Quest plan, you are essentially assured a successful outcome. The concept is simple… create a course just like you would a game, with an intriguing storyline, stunning graphics coupled with drop-dead aesthetics, then add gameplay elements like obstacles, levels, unlocks, boosters, and rewards. As your learners overcome obstacles, achieve level ups, and unlock boosters, they’ll be learning and testing their skills. Agenda: In this 6-hour certification program you will use L&D case studies as you overlay the Pirate Tales model for gamifiied learning design, gather data, and participate in problem-solving and assessment exercises.

Outcome: Gamified and game-based learning increase user engagement and enjoyment. Whether you’re making eLearning or instructor-led training for online or in a classroom, you can apply a proven framework to drive learner engagement and achieve both your learning and business objectives. The goal is to increase learning and engagement through key concepts found in game design and behavioral psychology. By adding game mechanics to training, gamification not only increases interest, it makes training "fun." A well-designed and well-implemented gamification program promotes engagement, meaning, mastery, and autonomy. Upon completion of the Level 1 Certification the Gamification Surveyor will demonstrate an introductory understanding of all components used to apply the Pirate Tales gamification design overlay to an L&D program.

Level 1 Virtual Certifications are held four to six times per year. 

Cost: To be certified as a Gamification Surveyor (Level 1), your tuition is $357, which includes the virtual course and all materials.
